An attachment is a sum of money to which the court obliges the convict to pay. An interest is imposed up to PLN 100,000 (in some cases up to PLN 1,000,000). It is pronounced in various cases:

• In the event of a conviction of the perpetrator for an intentional crime against life or health or for another intentional crime that results in death of a person, serious bodily injury, violation of bodily organ function or health disorder, the court may order an interest in the Victim Aid Fund and Post-penitentiary Assistance.
• In the event of a conviction of an offender for an offense against the environment, the court may order an interest in favor of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, referred to in art. 400 of the Act of 27 April 2001 - Environmental Protection Law (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1396, as amended).
• the court may order an interest in the amount of up to PLN 1,000,000 to the aggrieved party or the Victim Assistance Fund and Post-penitentiary Assistance in the event of a conviction for an offense from which the perpetrator has achieved, even indirectly, a material benefit of considerable value, if the court does not rule the forfeiture of the enterprise or its equivalent if it would be disproportionate to the seriousness of the crime committed, the degree of the accused's motivation or motivation and behavior of the owner of the enterprise or if the damage caused by the crime or the value of the hidden benefit is not significant in relation to the size of the enterprise's business or if the court has ordered the obligation to repair the damage caused or compensation for the suffered harm in an amount exceeding PLN 10,000
• In the event of a conviction of an offender for an offense specified in art. 173, art. 174, art. 177 or in art. 355, if the perpetrator was intoxicated or under the influence of a narcotic drug or escaped from the scene of the incident, the court decides to pay the victim, and in the event of his death as a result of the offense committed by the convicted person, an item to the closest person whose life situation has suffered as a result of the victim's death deteriorated. In the event that more than one such person has been agreed, it shall be decided in favor of each of them. If it is not possible to determine such a person, the court awards an interest to the Victim Aid Fund and Post-Penitentiary Assistance. The court awards an interest in the amount of at least PLN 10,000. In particularly justified circumstances, when the inflicted interest would cause the perpetrator to harm the necessary maintenance of himself and the family or when the injured party reconciled with the perpetrator, the court may impose a lower amount
