The penalty of deprivation of liberty lasts for a shortest month, the longest 15 years; it is measured in months and years.
In addition, there is a 25-year prison sentence and a life imprisonment.

In the case of the offense punishable by imprisonment, regardless of the lower limit of the statutory threat provided for in the Act for a given act, the court may at the same time order imprisonment not exceeding 3 months, and if the upper limit of the statutory threat is at least 10 years - 6 months, and penalty of restriction of liberty up to 2 years. First, imprisonment is carried out, unless the Act provides otherwise.
Extremely tight punishment may not 20 years imprisonment; imprisonment is imposed in months and years. If the Act provides for a lowering of the upper limit of the statutory threat, the penalty imposed for an offense punishable by life imprisonment may not exceed 25 years imprisonment, and for an offense punishable by 25 years imprisonment may not exceed 20 years imprisonment.
